Egypt e-Visa Types
Choose the right visa type for your Egypt travel plans. Both visa types allow tourist activities including sightseeing, visiting historical sites, and leisure travel.
Single Entry Tourist Visa
Includes:
- Valid for 90 days from date of issue
- Single entry to Egypt
- Stay up to 30 consecutive days
- Tourist and leisure activities only
- Non-extendable within Egypt
Best for:
Travelers visiting Egypt once for tourism, vacation, or visiting family/friends
Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
Includes:
- Valid for 180 days from date of issue
- Multiple entries during validity period
- Each stay up to 30 consecutive days
- Tourist and leisure activities only
- Flexible for repeat visits
Best for:
Travelers planning multiple trips to Egypt, business travelers with tourism purposes, or those exploring neighboring countries
Important Information
Processing Time
Both visa types are processed within 5-7 business days. We recommend applying at least 10 days before your intended travel date.
Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your planned arrival date in Egypt.
Permitted Activities
Both visa types are strictly for tourism purposes: sightseeing, visiting historical sites, leisure travel, and visiting family or friends. They do NOT permit work, business activities, or study.
Extension
Tourist e-visas cannot be extended within Egypt. If you need to stay longer, you must exit and re-enter with a new visa (if you have a multiple entry visa) or apply for a new visa.
